Make the most out of Aldi Community Games in 2021

How it works: 

Your child may take part in any of our Virtual Events in 2021 if:
  • they reside in a Community Games Area
  • your Community Games Area offers this event
  • they are under the respective age group on the 31st July of this year

Your Area will select a winner at Area level, this entry will then be sent forward to the County Finals.  Closing date for entries is the 5th May 2021.  The County winner's submission in each category will then quality for our National Finals.   

We will be announcing the winners from each category at the end of June.

These events are all FREE - medals, prizes and much more to be won - and a digital certificate for every child who takes part!

Please note that as of yet not all Counties have affiliated for the year.  Counties and Areas have until the 30th April to affilliate so if you can't find your county, please check back at a later date!  Closing date for entries is the 5th May 2021. 

If there is not a Community Games Area where you reside, please get in touch with us and we can help you set one up before the closing date (setting up an Area is free) ​

About Aldi Community Games

est. 1967
Aldi Community Games is an independent voluntary organisation, operating in local communities throughout Ireland. We aim to provide opportunities for children and young people aged 6 to16 years to develop active healthy lives in a safe environment through experiencing a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.

Community spirit and co-operation is fostered and encouraged. We believe that every young person should have the opportunity to take part in sports and art in their local community and grow up understanding how good it makes you feel when you are active and healthy.

The Covid-19 pandemic has meant that we've had to suspend or alter some of our usual activities, which is why we are offering some new events to our participants virtually via this platform.  There are still lots of physical events (with social distancing) happening in your Areas - find out more by clicking below.
